I grew up in Williston, ND, fishing with my dad from a young age. Catching an 11-pound walleye at age 6 sealed my love for the sport. As a child, I devoured fishing shows and spent weekends fishing the local river. Now, at 42, that passion still drives me, as they say, ‘the tug is the drug.’

During college at Moorhead State University, I embarked on a life-changing journey in Alaska, working for sportfishing companies on the Kenai Peninsula and in Southeast Alaska. I met my wife, Natalia, in Sitka, and our adventures led us across multiple states before settling in Denver. Though I found fulfillment working as a Probation Officer, my true passion always lay in fishing. In 2021, we made the move to Breezy Point, MN, seeking a simpler life for our growing family – and a place to set up my guide service. 

Alongside Natalia and our two sons, Owen and Nico, we enjoy exploring the outdoors and supporting local businesses. When not on the water, I indulge my passion for billiards as a recognized PBIA Instructor.
